Before you arrive
If you're a new patient, please complete and submit your intake forms before your first visit. Our intake forms are sent to you via email and take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
When you book your initial evaluation, we recommend scheduling your first four weeks of appointments at the same time — this locks in a consistent schedule and keeps your recovery on track.
For telehealth patients, instructions for your first virtual session will be sent after booking.
Your First Session
Your first visit is a full evaluation: we take the time to understand your history, your goals, and what's driving your pain or limitation. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on and a plan for how we're going to address it together.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Ongoing visits
Every session at POST PT is one-on-one with your physical therapist. Sessions are 40 minutes and combine hands-on manual therapy, targeted exercise, and education tailored to your goals. We track your progress at every visit so you can see it working.
Cancellations, No Shows, and Late Arrivals
We ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer your slot to patients on our waitlist and ensures our therapists' time is respected.
Cancellations - made less than 48 hours before your appointment are subject to a $75 fee. If you're unable to reschedule within the same calendar week, the fee applies. Same-week rescheduling is offered as a courtesy to waive the fee and is subject to availability — it is not guaranteed.
Late arrivals - We ask that you arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive late, a $25 fee applies for every 8 minutes, up to a maximum of $75 per visit. Arriving more than 24 minutes late will be treated as a no-show and the full $75 fee will apply.
Illness & Emergencies - We understand that life happens. If you're sick or experiencing a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll work with you.
A note on reminders - As a courtesy, we send reminder calls or texts 48 hours before your appointment. These are a courtesy only — please do not rely on them to track your schedule. You are responsible for keeping your appointments.
Please note: late cancellation, no-show, and late arrival fees are not covered by insurance.
